Gateway Announcement
U.S. National Teen Driver Safety Week is October 15-24.
Statistics report that more teens die from car crashes than any other
cause - and the first year is the most dangerous. Gateway has entered
into the Celebrate My Drive Program.
Everyday from October 15th through 24th anyone 14 years old or older can log onto www.celebratemydrive.com
and make one safe driving commitment per day.
The schools with the
most commitments have the opportunity to receive grants, such as:
Grand Prize - $100,000 Grant & Concert by The Band Perry
First Prize - $100,000 Grant
Second Prize - $25,000 Grant
First Prize - $100,000 Grant
Second Prize - $25,000 Grant
Math - Mrs. Johnson
7th - Unit Conversions (Minitest on Tuesday, October 21)
8th - None (Minitest on Friday, October 17)
Honors - pg.128 #42-50 even & pg.134 #6-18 even (Chapter 2 Test, Performance Assessment, Notebook-Wednesday, October 22)Reading - Dr. Gibbons and/or Mrs. Loiseau
7th and 8th grade: Book Project due 10/29
Read 20 minutes a night/ 4 times a week.
Social Studies - Ms. Mangiocco
7th: Complete Project Graphic Organizer if not finished in class today.
Project due on Friday
8th: Study for Chapter 5 Test -- Test is on Friday

eligible for the re-take next week.
