U.S. National Teen Driver Safety Week is October 15-24.
Statistics report that more teens die from car crashes than any other
cause - and the first year is the most dangerous. Gateway has entered
into the Celebrate My Drive Program.
Everyday from October 15th through 24th anyone 14 years old or older can log onto www.celebratemydrive.com
and make one safe driving commitment per day.
The schools with the
most commitments have the opportunity to receive grants, such as:
Grand Prize - $100,000 Grant & Concert by The Band Perry
First Prize - $100,000 Grant
Second Prize - $25,000 Grant
First Prize - $100,000 Grant
Second Prize - $25,000 Grant
Social Studies - Ms. Mangiocco
7th: Project in class all next week -- if you want to bring in art supplies or poster
board, bring it in by Tuesday, October 14th.
8th: Ch. 5 Sec. 3 Reading Study Guide - numbered questions & italicized
questions under the headings.
Reading - Dr. Gibbons and/or Mrs. Loiseau
